"Entangled Species IX”, part of an ongoing series since 2022, imagines a world where diverse species coexist symbiotically, challenging traditional competition-based evolution narratives. Inspired by biologist Lynn Margulis's symbiotic universe theory, the project advocates for interconnectedness and cooperation across all forms of life, promoting a non-anthropocentric perspective on evolution. In the artwork, hierarchical structures are dismantled, giving way to networks that embody a posthuman approach to subjectivity. Here, identities are fluid and constantly reshaped through interactions with other forms of materiality, reflecting a decentered, relational, and distributed conception of subjectivity. It explores themes of co-evolution and the deep connections between humans and the non-human world, emphasizing fluid, relational identities that transcend traditional hierarchies.
