MONOMO
Geomata
Geomata is a collection of living topographies - animated meditations on the fractal intelligence that shapes our world from root to river, cloud to cortex. These works depict nature; they embody its recursive whisper, where the same silent algorithm writes flowers, neurons, and coastlines in infinite variations of becoming.
Geomata explores the recursive geometry that shapes rivers, salt lakes, sandbars, neural pathways, tree canopies, and flowers, the universal code through which nature organises itself, a study in morphogenesis, a glimpse into the quiet order behind the world’s complexity, and a visual articulation of the serenity that arises when mind and nature share the same pattern. Energy-efficient structures that emerge from simple rules repeated across scales.
Each piece is a geological psalm: Sedivis, the hush of settling time;Terramare, a convergence of soil and sea in dendritic memory; Litoralis, the sacred seam between holding and release; Ferromata, the rust-colored hymn of earth’s inner fire; Sedimara, the golden residue of movement transfigured.
To encounter Geomata is to trace the fingerprint of nature’s morphogenesis, to feel the pattern beneath perception, the symmetry between your breath and the unfolding of a fern. These visual forms act not just as reflections but as regulators, fractal sanctuaries that restore coherence in the overstimulated mind.
You are not separate from these structures.
You are the rhythm nested in their curves.
You are the pattern remembering its shape.
You are the stillness behind the complexity.
You are the geometry returning to itself.

Diego Castro also known as MONOMO, is a London based CGI/AI artist that focuses on digital creation, utilizing his architectural background along with an Exceptional Talent endorsement from the Arts Council in the United Kingdom.
His mission is to recreate futuristic, bio-focused concepts through CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) and AI CLIP (Contrastive Language Image Pre-Training) Diffusion Models. His AI-generated artwork, Synthesized Nature, examines the intricate relationship between nature and society.
His vision is to forge a present and future where organic structures function symbiotically, blending seamlessly with their surroundings. This results in fundamental systems that emulate natural environments, leading to a synthesis where the boundaries between nature and society become indistinguishable. He aims to create a perceptual distortion, challenging the invisible limits separating the environment and society.
MONOMO’s narrative aspires to inspire the audience to envision a world where nature and society coalesce effortlessly. In this envisioned future, humans draw inspiration from nature and cultivate a sense of respect for it.
His artwork has been showcased in various prestigious exhibitions, including notable venues in London such as Saatchi Gallery and W1 Curates, as well as in New York’s Times Square Billboards, and across cities such as Venice during the Venice Design Week, Paris, Berlin, Oxford, Chicago, Madrid and Dubai. Additionally, he has been the subject of several online publications including Forbes & Decrypt, including a solo interview with META and featured in the LG Gallery+ official release.
