Activated Fragments -parallelized- (2024)
ABOUT
Like a “upside-down picture”, the same object can be interpreted as something completely different when viewed from different directions. At this moment, the original spatial connections are fragmented and systematized into something else, which is interpreted by the human mind. I wondered if the abstraction of the picture, its movement, and its text could extend the diversity of interpretation. In this work, multiple generated polygons generated with CLIP and pgpelib are placed on the screen in different distributions. On two separate screens, each of which is paired with a completely different text, the parallelized content unfolds. The viewer is encouraged to discover potential interpretations by tracing the fragments activated in the experience one after another.
